Jeez, no end to the madness!

It just seems so unlikely - what happened to the tried and trusted charcoal burner method? Carbon monoxide poisoning (isn't it?) MUST be a more, well, popular and immediate option than death by the kind of excruciating pain they must've felt. God, I hope the majority in the car were drugged to sleep.

Can't believe people take their lives for this type of thing and the lives of their loved ones too. I really don't know what to say especially the children how they most likely suffered if they were still conscious.

How could anyone possibly believe this ridiculous story? Even the children aside who didn't have a choice. Hw could 2 adults willingly burn themselves alive even to include one person just related to the supposedly crazy one? This is a good reason why the Japanese police have a reputation for buffonary. Very suspicious indeed and my money is on the husband having something to do with it.

It DOES stink - taking all those people with you but not the husband, for a supermarket debt? Methinks there's more to this than mets the eye. Poor kids.

I agree this does not sound right. So is is supposed to have killed her children and parents, and in this cruel way? Why not the hubby too, then? I hope the constabulary asks him a few more questions.

How old were the children?

My God, why? RIP. I hope all of them, especially the children, were given pills long before the fire started.

Its a little hard to believe that anyone could light themselves on fire and just sit there in the car. Much easier to believe that the man drugged them all and lit the car himself.

Absolutely horrible to lose your kids in such a way...poor guy. Wonder if he ever suspected she was going to do that.

How exactly did she convince her kids and children to sit in the car while she doused them and the car in gasoline?
