They seemed to know nothing about warmongering Biden's proclaimed tensions.

and yet its Putin whos moved 100000 troops tanks and artillery on all borders of Ukraine.

I dont agree with your sentiment.

Look at all the wars engaged in or started by US on false pretenses (Iraq, Syria, Yemen,....).

Naturally US people feel highly skeptical (not to mention, skyrocketing military budget and national debt).

Putin and XI have the exact agenda. They are cooperating with one another and also watching each OTHER VERY CLOSELY as they share borders! China see this as a way to try to take Taiwan just as Russia took the islands next to Japan when Japan was too busy at war fighting the US. China has a problem with every neighbor Russia wants Europe. Putin is a stone cold murderer and he has no problems going into Ukraine. My thinking is Putin will not move all of those assets into position if he didn't have a sound motive to not invade Ukraine. I say because the Olympics is going on Putin agreed with Xi not to invade and rain on his country parade. Look for when the Olympics to end that's when the real fireworks will begin.

This is like 2003 all over again - no evidence of an invasion - at least the Ukranians don't seem to think so... This is what's known as a self-fulfilling prophecy - ramping up the rhetoric until what you fear could happen actually DOES happen simply because you made it happen.

Ease back on the sabre rattling and talk of war... this isn't the Balkans with a civil war to try and stop... this is the Russian army you're baiting... and that bear bites!

WW3 ?

But they've seen the trap that awaits them in Biden continuing to spin out the game until HIS needs are met (whether that need is the 'strong hero' reputation when the paper tiger doesn't move, the veneer of legitimacy to the plans to steal assets from Russians to prop up his government, or forcing Russia to do something that he can then declare to be them starting a war, which would also prop up his government) namely that it creates the conditions for even those who lost the last national Ukrainian election and aren't bothered by it being overthrown, but aren't that invested in the present regime due to its corruption to decide that the regime has to go, even if it results in the resumption of national elections they won't win.

Don't take this the wrong way, but the occasional full-stop might add a little coherence to any points you (may) be making here.

The US backed Ukrainian regime was happy to play along with Biden's paper tiger scam when it meant that they would be getting a massive infusion of cash and weapons they could use to buy support and murder opposition.

Been a lot of "right-leaning" conspiracy nuts posting about Biden and the Dems "lying" or "wanting a war." Think the last thing anyone wants is a war. Best wishes to the people of Ukraine.

Plenty of tension, as there would be if Russia massed 140,000 combat troops, heavy weapons and combat ships surrounding Japan. Understandably the Ukrainian government is seeking to keep the temperature as low as possible but if you bother to read Ukrainian sources you will see at the same time they are ramping up their defences to the fullest degree available to them, greatly enhanced by the resources gifted to them by their very concerned neighbours and allies.

If you bothered to look a little deeper in to Ukrainian history you would see why they are so determined to retain their freedom and independence, centuries of Russian occupation, the oppression of their identity, culture and language. The 4,000,000 deaths by starvation deliberately engineered by the Russian government to crush their opposition in the 1920’s & 30’s, not to mention those who “disappeared” in to the KGB torture chambers and gulags.

So yeah, to all fermented by the USA, right.

90% of the people at my company found out there's a country called "Ukraine" this week, and that something is going on there.

That’s what I meant, Zoroto. But I didn’t want to write it explicitly. lol

On Friday, 3 days ago, US intelligence assured that the invasion will start on Wednesday, February 16. Yesterday, as the 16th coming soon, the White House spokesman, J. Sullivan said that there's no way to predict the invasion date.

Sadly enough there are still many people, including Governments, that still believe the White House lies.

What tensions do they have there in that beautiful city full of history, sightseeing spots and delicious food everywhere, equipped with quite some money usual at embassies that is surely also more than sufficient for quite an outstanding additional nightlife experience you won’t find so often elsewhere on this planet? lol Going there is probably the best thing that happened to them in their whole life!
