Is this surprising at all??? This company is terrible!!! Or it's genius.... If what they are doing is actually setting the bar so low, making us always expect the worst possible outcome, that in the end they would be praised for the effort and whatever positive turn out it had. And in order to do that they only have to wreck the environment... Hideous? Yes. Impossible? No!!

Sounds to me like new management and a new building is in order.

(but)...with same problems. .

Sounds like they are running out of pools. No. 2 pool damaged so transfer water to No. 1 pool, now No. 1 pool is leaking. Guess the place is falling apart and is still spewing radiation all the time.

These reservoirs are all starting to leak suddenly?
No, I suspect that when they discovered high strontium levels outside the first one they were checking, then they began to discover the others, already leaking longtime.
Although the article calls Fukushima Daiichi a 'tsunami-damaged facility', these reservoirs were never affected by any tsunami.
They are leaking because of either shoddy construction, poor maintenance, old age, or earthquakes, or all of these.

Someone surely has to step in at some point, the continuing incompetence is just unacceptable.
I am worried this is, as I said earlier, a calculated move to get the "authorities" to allow them to start directly allowing the "waste water" directly into the ocean.

fukushima stil need alot of attention! workers might need two more years to complete repair and preventing new leaks

We think? Fundamental? Seriously? Are these fools building sand castles or attempting to clean up the world's second worse nuclear disaster? If it wasn't so serious it would be hilarious!

Time for someone in this country to put on their big boy pants and handle the situation.
