Putting them in different towns is a nice idea. There is no shortage of anime fans who are also avid collectors. Have to go to all eight towns to get the full set of photos.

Expat, we've had a lot to deal with, like fixing utilities and roads and getting elderly out of temporary housing.

The statues were a gift, fully paid for, from Oda Eichirou, born in Kumamoto and One Piece's creator. It is a very kind gesture to his hometown.

Sucks to hear you guys are still have a lot to deal with. After seeing how Kasumigaseki handled Tohoku it's no surprise Kumamoto isn't off any better. Great gesture indeed, hope it helps.
