Good News, have a safe trip, and good luck.

Stephen Hawking did it last year.
Look at him smiling on 0 gravity, is amazing.

Hope they have life insurance. Don’t trust SpaceX.

Who else is there? It's them or the Russians.
SpaceX's Starship TEST flights have been in the news a lot due to their (predicted) failures, but that's what test flights are for.
The astronauts will be flying on a SpaceX's Falcon 9, which has made 112 flights in the last 11 years. Putting that into perspective, NASAs Space Shuttle flew only 135 missions in 30 years, and lost two crews doing so.

Pathetic.
Japan is not even in the race. Yet again.
We did not participate in the last one between America and Russia. Japan could have been, and should have been the 3rd player in the space race.
Japan should have been the second country on Earth to land a man on the Moon, but we didn't.
We didn't do it then, and where not doing it anytime soon.
China will do it before Japan does. That's my prediction.

By all means, please say more on this...

So many people here underestimating Japan.
The Japanese are smart. They are sitting back and waiting for the right time. They have brilliant rocket technology. They will watch, listen and learn, and then move at the appropriate time.
The world needs Japan and the tech savvy of this country and its people.
They will surprise all of us.

So you believe it is OK to risk people’s lives because you hate Russians? I wonder if you would refuse Sputnik V personally if it will save your life, just because it is Russian?
kiwiboy
I never said I hate Russians. I simply said there's no other way to get humans to space. It's either SpaceX or Soyuz. So although your comment makes SpaceX sound risky, there's not many other choices.
