Well, he has really taken ownership of the bullying he was forced to endure at school! I hope he makes a bit of money from this.

Whats up with this monkey business? Well, to each his own, I guess.

Don't bet on it.

In 500 years all Olympic races may be four-legged .
Uh-oh ! Planet of the apes.

How about a video?
Newsman
Um ... I hate to break the news to him, but I think there are good reasons we are bipedal now.

Checked out the video. Good for him if he wants to do this. What does he do for a job? Looks like a Freeter to me.

This is what I love about Japan. Most people are so boring in the way they conform. Most just do what everyone else does and expects them to do. But the ones in Japan who don't, are just off the planet crazy.
"but my prediction is that in 500 years’ time all track athletes will be running on all fours"
I'd like to bet him on it, but it's going to be hard to collect. People like him are great. I assume he's not married?

Good on this guy, if he is doing what he truly loves. I doubt very much athletes of the future will 'come around' as the guy hints at, but there's no reason why we can't give the guy a little respect and wish him well.

Hmm. The title is misleading.
He actually walks on two legs and two arms.

I saw lots of Americans doing this when the new "limited" Nike Air Force One's were released a little while ago. Lot's of ape like behaviour going on. <http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b67S1NEgwC8
Good luck to this guy, he's doing his own thing, a very rare thing in Japan.

Newsman, standing upright gave us a height advantage useful for many things in the African grasslands; however, it also made us less steady and slower, if I recall. How many people die from slips and falls each year? I bet Kenichi Ito won't.

I got home on four legs last night after twelve pints of Guininess.

So ... what does he do when it rains, wear a raincoat and rain boots? How about his hands? And what does he do when he accidentally "steps" on dog poo or other filthy stuff on his front limbs?
