First I wish her a fast and total recovery!

Princess Hisako, who will recuperate at her residence until Saturday, has canceled her attendance at the All Japan Inter-Middle School English Oratorical Contest to be held Friday.

I think that for people who are espousing the need for better English here in Japan should take a look at their own website for the competition and find someone who can edit the English BEFORE they post it !

"a participated student" "a participated teacher"???? Really now, did I just participated in writing a post here?

The wonderful part of all is that the heart is, amazingly, continuing up until now. As Prince Takamado mentioned, the so-called "English speaker" is nothing special anymore. We should be highly aware of what the next generation is going to be required. Thank you for giving me so many unforgettable memories.

Reporting light symptoms that millions have or had

has now dropped to around 36 C

That's below normal. Wonder why?

36C is within the normal range.

36c-37.2c is the normal range acceptable. The temperature was also taken via the skin and is not a core temperature. So this is perfectly normal.

Speedy recovery to the princess. That said, she is only to remain at her residence until this Saturday...why is she allowed to waive the protocol of 2 weeks quarantine like the rest of world? Has Japan changed the policy and practice for the 'noble class'?

If you live here, you should know the policy for here changed months ago.

【Symptomatic】1) 7 whole days after the first sign of symptoms and 2) 24 hours free of any symptoms or 2 consecutive negative results on a COVID-19 test taken at least 24 hours apart, after being free of symptoms. 【Asymptomatic】7 whole days after the day the positive specimen was collected.

She will now have natural immunity and can have a safe life from now on.

No, even natural immunity is shown to fade.

Vaxx + infection = strongest immunity. So hopefully she's vaxxed.

Funny since catching Covid in Japan several months ago and not really bothered about it now and going out to bars and clubs etc.

Well, either I have been very lucky or I have natural immunity.

I’mnot willing to shell out for an antibody test even if I could find a hospital willing to conduct one…

Contact your municipal office. Many have been distributing them for free, through the mail.

@Yubaru

I have a home test for possible infection but I don’t know if there is a test for antibodies which is available-I’ll ask some medical contacts of mine here
