European education for intellectual fields is best ?

As a European, going to England as student is the easy choice when you are hopeless in languages.

Wonder what the royal family will say when she comes back with a "gaijin" boyfriend.

Penske - her uncle and aunt (Naruhito and Masako) both studied in Britain and the emperor himself proudly announced his Korean roots in his New Year speech in 2001 shortly before the joint Japan/Korea World Cup, so I suspect a foreign boyfriend would be no problem to the famiy.

Kudos to her for going to Leeds, I have many happy memories of living in the city.

She'll come back with a whippet and a racing pigeon.

Good for her, I hope she enjoys her time in Yorkshire.

Don't forget the flat 'at and black pudding or learning the ancient marshal art of Ecky Thump!

Good luck to her, Leeds is a not bad city these days!

I don't want to start another war of the Rosies, but aren't black puddings and Ecky Thump associated with Lancashire. The poor lass could be in a bit of bother if she turns up spouting such things. The whippet and pigeons sound safer.

Part of my family is from Leeds, therefore I am very happy that the princess has chosen to study at the University of Leeds.

I hope that she feels very welcome and is successful with her studies.

She will arrive in Yorkshire as the same anybody else at Leeds University - a student.

Good luck
