Say "I do", use the proper finger to show dad, the Imperial Household Agency and the mass media where they stand in your heart (Hint: it's not the index finger), and get out of this dysfunctional fish bowl.

Best of luck to you.

The mausoleum could do with some lawnmowing and maintenance.

complex post-traumatic stress disorder

Meditation is a cure for this. So is Yoga, and moving out of the public eye. Aloha and enjoy life young lady.

I feel sorry for her, as she seems to be grabbing on the first guy she could to get the hell out of the grip of the IJA.

His reputation, according to media and of course SNS, aint all that great, and not just the scandal about his mother and her former finance.

I hope he gets her the mental health care she obviously needs!

Princess Mako is probably thinking hurry up and get this over with.. can't wait to move to NYC and enjoy freedom... soon you will see her in the streets wearing yoga pants at a hotdog stand...

What is wrong with them - this whole sorry mess could, and should have been sorted in a heartbeat years ago, instead of all the meetings/ proposing to do something/considering making an offer etc. etc......

For the sake of just $35,000 they've brought shame on both families, for what ? No wonder his mother is 'sick', sick of the lot of them. Komuro seems like a spineless imbecile, so good-luck for the soon-to-be ex-Princess in recovering from her terrible disorder.

Please leave the Princess alone....

If I ever find a a true soulmate, few would put up with my selfish independence, the marriage ceremony would be a joint affair reflecting our respective religious and spiritual beliefs.

Japan's Princess Mako and chosen sweetheart have been subject to a betrayal, a whispering campaign, whatever Komuro hair style.

Offer the 150 million yen as a wedding gift from the nation. Kei Komuro is Princess Mako chosen,

Give both a welcome send off.

Graves that contain the true ancestor DNA of the royalty is from the ancient Korean peninsula

That there is some Korean blood from the Paekche royalty is a known fact. But that hardly makes it the "true" DNA when like most Japanese, the Imperial family carries mostly Jomon and Yaoi DNA.

She is leaving and wanted to pay her respects to her grandparents grave. Normal, nothing new.

If your trying to be negative on a story like this then good luck to you and your negativity.

What make us all, as human being diverse from Princess Mako or in fact any other genealogy of the Imperial Family?

Nothing, we wake up in the morning we go to sleep at night?

Duty!!

Princess Mako has put duty before intimacy.

It is time now to respect Princess Mako wishes and give Princess Mako a national thumbs up.

@ossan America

And next you will try to convince me the magatama didn't come from Paekche or the sword and the mirror.

And since when does a bloodline not contain DNA?

You will have to become more astute if your going to try to prove or disprove what is well known.

And the ancient kingdom of Paekche was only one of the kingdoms involved in the taking of the lands that are now called Japan or Nippon.

They were hunchbacked warriors dwarfs wielding halbergs on horses.

What it means to be nihonjin and that idea was never realized and could never compare to the elegant nature of the original inhabitants of the now Japan.

Just ask one of the original native tribes about the true history of Japan or even the early Chinese documents and paintings .

You will find the story was changed and the truth obscured.

If she is suffering from PTSD due to public concern about Komuro family's financial dispute, which led many to oppose the couple's marriage, and led many to oppose the couple's marriage, and the Imperial Household Agency resulting in the traditional ceremonies associated with royal family members' weddings not be held. Wait until she get to New York, here it is you have some one who has been spoon fed all her life. New York life is not like that she may have handlers because of her royal status but moving to New York and adjusting to an entire life could be very difficult for someone who has to adjust living in a new country suffering from PTSD.

I wish the princess long life and happiness.

And also i find historical documentation interesting from ancient Korea and ancient China and ancient Japan.

No negativity intended.

I so admire these two.

The Imperial Household Agency tried every dirty trick in the book to BREAK this couple.

I understand the history, the protocols, how the public taxes fund the Imperial Family,

But, these two do not deserve to be abused by an ARCHAIC, DRACONIAN mob

of Self-Righteous, Hoods.

I wish the couple, THE GREATEST HAPPYNESS, EVER!!!!

I don’t think so. She will still be followed around while in NY. She is already shielded from the riff raff and still suffering from shell-shock. Unless she becomes a shut in she will get less space in the States given the relatively more rambunctious public and media culture. She would be better off living in the middle of the Amazon jungle.

Monarchy is biggest social fraud on humankind, their is no rational basis for it existience

Tradition and cultural inheritance is a perfectly good reason for maintaining a monarchy- especially one that does not have a role in governance.

Japan's Princess Mako visited the graves of her great-grandparents in Tokyo on Tuesday to offer prayers ahead of her controversy-hit marriage to boyfriend Kei Komuro later this month.

Even this first paragraph is negative. How about :

Japan's Princess Mako visited the graves of her great-grandparents in Tokyo on Tuesday to offer prayers ahead of her forth-coming marriage to her fiance Kei Komuro later this month.

Doesn't sound like the media are going to leave her alone

I can't wait for Mako-chan and Mr. Pony Tail "hosuto" Komuro to appear on Oprah.
