Definitely buildings should make you feel happy! Unfortunately, reality is very different as we live in boxes with absolutely no aesthetic value!

Where does he get this tripe? He must be blind or saw only what he wanted to see or wants to suck up to somebody. There is so much architectural brutalisation of natural beauty. It's mostly like nature doesn't or shouldn't exist.

Japanese homes become smaller and smaller and those around larger cities pricier and pricier and we become unhappier and….

He needs to start desiging buildings and homes all over the country then. The last six houses that have been put up in my neighborhood have all been aesthetically unattractive square boxes with nothing that makes one "feel happy".
