Good there is no tsunami that's for sure!

The Nankai Trough is of particular concern, as are any coastal areas around Japan, notably the Pacific. This is a really interesting article, as not just the size of the earthquake needs to be considered, but the duration and place. Have your grab bags and emergency kits ready, could be today, right now, or you may never need them. Who knows.

This was not covered in Japanese language venues. Censorship? Or recogntion that a 5.8 quake at a depth of 36.6 miles undersea far from any population concentration is no big deal?

Big ones coming. Indonesia, Philippines, Taiwan, Okinawa and Hokkaido all had them recently. That only leaves out Tokyo or Nagoya.
