They should win awards for empty gestures. And whenever you have girls with short skirts in Japan like at comic conventions you get a scrum of geek photogs. Not the best idea in this situation with infections exploding.

The article also says that Asazuma san is also a freelance event MC. That probably means she had near zero income in 2020. I would happily bet money on her having a larger drop in income and getting less government support than all the bars and izakayas they interview on the news.

Pointless, empty gesture that doesn’t give me cheer. And those plastic chin guards offer no protection from the virus to the wearer or anyone in the vicinity, yet everyone on telly is wearing them. Setting a really bad example and does not take Covid rules seriously.

Why does Japan use food prep sneeze guards, they don't protect anyone including the wearer!

Oh, yes! There’s nothing like having underaged teenage girls jump around in short skirts to lift the spirits of the working class men albeit somewhat immoral.

As an ex-Commuter, having an area of my route fenced off, is damn annoying - I wouldn't care even, if these girls were dancing stark naked beckoning me to join them in a mad orgy ... I still need to get to Work on-time!, and they're blocking my way! WTF... Very Annoying. Stupid promotion, and for those commuters who stand and watch these "dancers" ... I hope their Companies decide that those Employees are not committed to their employment as many others who are without work, would be!

What a waste of space, my time, and their effort!
