Is there an election coming?

Both the ruling party in South Korea and the LDP coordinate with the US, that is well known, as the leaders of both parties were supported by the US following the end of WWII

It's already been proven that stories are planted in the media by governments the world over

This news is becoming like a weather report. Though NK fires a missile toward and over japan, Japan will not shoot it down.

Japan has rules of engagement like a "Boy Scout" would. They'd rather slap on more and more sanctions on NK. If worse came to worse, they'd wait for US retaliation to be initiated.
Then just prob stand-bye and watch from their SDF bases.

Enough talk, shoot it down and send a message to China or Russia that Japan means business, importantly make them remember Japan of ol...

I have to give much respect to Japan on this.
Imagine if you made even the slightest with move with your hardware and your neighbors started sounding sirens and reporting all over the place.
This is just awesome preparedness, and a very good way of telling the North that Japan knows what they're doing in the slightest detail. It won't be necessary to fire a shot. It's beautiful. Japan will sleep safe tonight. Peace on the seven seas!

Japan should just blow that firecracker out of the sky and send their aircraft carriers out to the Sea of Japan along with a few more around the Senkakus.

Depends on where the missile is projected to land. If it's destined to land in the sea, as all NK launcheds in the past have, why shoot it down?
Not "probably"- it's definitely. Look at their constitutional constraints.

Are you proposing the LDP controls the Yonhap News Agency enough to be able to plant a story?

South Korea is also on alert. I suppose they are going along for the sake of Japan's LDP.
