Cool and interesting. I honestly didn't know the SDF had a paratrooper unit. An entire brigade (according to Wiki).

True. But when it's time to pay the piper ie; get ur feet wet / SHTF. How can you back up an ally or "fellow countrymen" deploying (either to-from) Kyushu to Hokkaido? Okinawa? Senkaku Islands?

It could be for defense as well. Depends on size of their balls- but heck! There were only 2 dozen or so, of these heroes. Doesn't say too much now does it-
