Wil never understand this desire to challenge death for the sake of "sport"
Hiro S Nobumasa
RIP.
Mountain climbing is never about challenging death.
Moreover those who love climbing mountains never solely are doin it for the sake of sport.
It is more of a desire to have a spiritual connection and communion with the beauties of nature and the sublime Creator of our universe which the grand mountains provide and command.
Even Moses loved mountains! Ever Noah built an Ark just to go to the majestic peaks!
Anyways, those who never climbed mountains will never ever understand even an iota of this burning desire to kiss the rocks of the summit where the clouds combs ones hair and where one can almost touch the moon and the stars while glancing down at the crystal valleys and winding rivers and chirping forests continuing up the horizon where the gentle waves of the seas kisses the setting sun.
A mere sport? A death challenge ?
Go tell it to the mountains where even the mighty sun first rises to start the first second of the day!
Again RIP thou now eternal Mountaineers!
I'm sure the Lord Jesus is now showing you all the peaks of the world in the palm of His hand at the peak of Mount Everest!

Moral of the story: Stop making other people sad by engaging in dangerous, meaningless activities ending like that. Proper living 101.
