This is very surprising news. As somebody with inside knowledge of the Japanese healthcare industry, Tohoku cancer rates are supposed to be kept secret. There is a big ongoing study now regarding cancer increase. Hospitals and clinics are asked to provide information, but not leak. Citizens need a Anonymious hack of statistics, but as that is illegal, I guess we have to wait.

Are there any facts to back up this accusation?

I thought J Govt thought only children under 18 was susceptible to cancer from triple nuclear meltdowns.... Since they were the only people getting free check ups and only for thyroid cancer at that....... Glad to see finally that J Govt realizes everyone is susceptible to cancers in an area with a triple nuclear meltdown and that the people in said area need attention.... all the people....

How do you infer that from the article? It has nothing to do with cancer susceptibility. Rather, it is about an increase in women seemingly delaying consulting with their doctors after noticing breast cancer symptoms.
