The ones you keep promoting (ivermectin and HCQ) are not "good" since they only increase the risk for the patients without providing any benefit according to the best available science. Shionogi's drug may be still effective and safe depending on the results of the trials so it has a huge advantage over those that have already been examined and found inneffective.

No country is doing such a thing, what the world is doing is collaborating and examining the candidates for treatment and eliminating those that show no benefit, there is no benefit in giving to patients drugs that will not benefit them and since every drug comes with risks that means putting the patients in unnecessary danger. Giving ineffective drugs is much worse than not giving them anything instead.

Lots of routine childhood vaccinations require two, three, or even four shots. You just don't remember because you were a wee tot for most of them. Many adult vaccines have multiple doses too - like hep a and b and rabies.
