Well, at least he has a mask on. That’s a pleasant change from what came before.

Since no news yet of when supplies will be delivered next, might as well be very cautious meantime.

On-the-spot guidance. This reminds me of "Kim Jong Un Looking at Things". The only thing I am missing is our PM being surrounded by people taking notes.

Isn't he supposed to get a public jab like Biden, Johnson and others did? Or is he afraid of possible side-effects?

I wouldn't be surprised if our wise ministers got jabs already, even before the vaccines publicly arrived in Japan. Or they'll wait.

How many people did they vaccinate on Wednesday? 125

How many will get a vaccination in the next six weeks? 60 per day

How many people will be vaccinated starting in April? 800 per day

What is wrong with this picture?

Mask AND face shield! Lovely!!

Suga missed the opportunity to get the shot . He would have set up a good example. I guess he has no time to report on a daily basis for seven weeks.

20000/125=160 days . Time to change the gear.

Let us get on with it already. At this pace. Who knows when my area is going to see the health workers and the elderly get it. Then the rest of us.

First good work.

Did he have his yet? Anyone know....

Suga does nothing proactive to help his own self-image. He will lose the next election, and likely be replaced by the another old unlikable dude.

Hospitals in Ibaraki, Nagano and Okayama began vaccinations on Thursday as the country seeks to inoculate an initial group of 40,000 health workers before expanding to other parts of the population.

Meanwhile people in packed trains in Tokyo, Saitama, Chiba, Kanagawa are not getting the vaccination but simply being left to continue as if there is nothing to worry about or fear..........................and there is simply nothing to worry about or fear except the damn govt the media and the hype ................... Most people will not come in contact with this mythical disease and even if they do most will not even know they have until they are tested and told they are sick.

But hey why not hype it and spread the fear and the can we say B.S.

Get the Vaccine Maxine, ........................the govt wants you to so it must be good , Right ?

Suga looks scared.

I am sad to say it, the man makes Abe look so charismatic.

Useless leader and useless jab (still need to wear masks, social distance, no liability to big pharma and might not protect you or others), the ultimate usless combo.

0 ( +3 / -3 )

He himself should get the jab asap!

His security detail doesn't seem to like the photographer

C'mon people! Photo-ops are photo-ops. Can't fault the intention because it's all fake news, and Japanese politicians don't know any better. It's in the genes.

I thought the exact same thing. People taking notes, clapping, and crying to be in the presence of Dear Leader.
