Caught on to teamLab early on when I came to Japan. Great date spot.
Could be the near future of augmented reality entertainment.

Team Labs is more fun than most UNESCO listed spot in Japan.

sakurasuki, I’m sure it is! But they’re on a different scale, really.
Apples and oranges.

Any museum is a good museum to me. I'm taken by surprise that this made it into Guinness, but all I can say is over 2M visitors can't be wrong. It rather makes me proud of Japan. I loved it when I lived there and still do.

Went there during the pandemic, nice and quite and had a jolly fun time with my dear partner. Been to one in Fukuoka which was ok but not as good. Also went to one in Naha however that was very much targeted towards children. My son enjoyed it immensely and participated in some activities. My partner and son went to the one in Nagai and said that wasn’t as much fun as they expected.

Been there, but in what sense is this a museum?

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I've always thought of this place as an interactive museum but never really considered it comparable to your "typical" museum, although they share the name "museum". I'd like to visit though.

I am sure that Disneyland has more visitors. It is the same as a museum. You go to look at things and enjoy them.

Disneyland is geared more towards small children I believe.
