Wow - 35 years! I was a high school seasonal worker, 17 (I'd lied about my age - the rule was 18 or older) then, and a lot of my permanent coworkers went to Tokyo to train the new TDS employees. Time flies. (Still never been there.)

I loathe Disney.

I remember 13 years ago all the big posters on the trains advertising Disney's 22th Anniversary. Seriously! All the large, colorful and expensive posters had '22th Anniversary' written on them. They were plastered all over the trains and around town. I've got photos of them. They are always a good chuckle. Happy 35nd Anniversary Disney!

I've been a few times, but I'll never forget the music to "It's a small world"

Da da daa daa daa da daa, daa da daa daa daa da daa... (repeat ad nauseam) Argghh!

Why is Micky mouse a mouse? his sheer size would suggest Rat. And abnormal large one at that.

Then don't go there. Problem solved.

Been there, that's when the loathing started.

I've never been there and have no intentions of going there. It just does not interest me in the slightest. However, for those who complain about the entrance fee, there is a solution. All you need to do is take a 'Kowaii jar' and every time you hear somebody say "Kowaii!" you run up to them and ask them to put ¥10 in your jar. I reckon you'd recoup your entrance fee within the first ten minutes of being there.

Cripes almighty, if you don't like it, don't go. Its not meant for adults.

If you have children, you gotta take the bullet and go every once in a blue moon. Put on a happy face and do your best to get through it without spoiling the day for the kids.

Avoid the singing bear show, though. It is disturbing beyond belief.

Had to go once, company "trip" unfortunately I was one of the few who did not have a Disneland Passport? I am actually proud of that. 30+ year old women and men excited by a person dressed in a costume. I an still bearing the burden of the embarrassment they should have felt.
