Sadly true. Its the same everywhere the Greens get in power. All they do is prop up (usually conservative-type) governments. They talk the talk, get into power, then make excuses for their political masters.

9 days of heaven bring more heat. Summer is the best season :)

Don't worry. A typhoon and rain this week will cool things down a bit.

Don't worry about the climate deniers, they at least are honest about what they think. Worry about the ones who do say climate change is a problem, but then get money from gas companies and lobbyists to do nothing to stop it, or even roll back regulations. Surprised the german govt hasn't fallen since greens are in coalition. Guess they couldn't resist being in power, just like the rest of the lot.

Are there climate change deniers in Japan like in the US?

Sometimes, I think our US conservatives are the only ones on Earth who still deny the science.

One thing I appreciate from the US is central air in regular houses. Single AC unit with ducts going to all rooms. Might even save electricity if invested in. Europe's gonna need this too. GW is getting bad.

It's better than what we had back in Florida, even with the humidity.

Gets worse every year, that’s why we always vacation in Australia in july till september. Grab flight out!

35.3C in nothing when compared to the rest of Asia and the earth surface, yes it is hot but other parts of the world see 40C and over and they adjust and learn how to live with it.

Japan's humidity is what you are failing to account for. Only a few countries even come close. I've got friends from the Philippines and Thailand that say Japan is far far worse.

The humidity is what makes it so unbearable. 45C when the humidity is low is much easier to tolerate than 38C with high humidity.

The problem is Japan is not use to high temps. and people just don't know how handle it, but soon they will adapt and learn because it is not going to get better but worse.
