No it doesn't !

We know the worldwide CFR (case fatality rate) is around 0.1%. So we can summarize from that that in Tokyo there are about 3000 real cases per day. So about 20x the official numbers.

And if you factor in the 2 layers of masks and overall health (obesity , diabetes etc..) you will probably rich a number that is very close to what has been reported.

Compared to last Saturday. The rate of people hospitalized for coronavirus, per 100,000 inhabitants in Tokyo Prefecture.. It has been reduced by 0,37 points. Getting to be, below the coefficient of 7.

This is excellent news. If Tokyo in the future, manages to lower the coefficient of 6 people hospitalized, per 100,000 inhabitants. Officially it will have managed to control the spread of the virus. Thus beginning the process of eradication.

There is only a small effort left to achieve this. The hardest work is already done.

You need to test a large sample size to get any meaningful readings.

I'm waiting for the day somebody decides to make the study. Then we'll be able to say if the spreading of the virus is high or low.

124 confirmed cases. That is still a lot of infected people. Those 124 who were tested positive may have already spread the virus to others by the the time they got tested and confirmed to be truly positive. Hope the number continues to go down.

Tokyo is doing okay I think but there are other parts of the country where infections are spreading. Overall though, given Japan's population, 6000 active infections is not many.
