Totoro time: Ghibli theme park opens to visitors

Unfortunately the weather was not great today for a Grand Opening but I bet that didn't stop people. Hopefully things went smoothly.

Looking forward to visiting in a couple of years once crowds have died down and it's not popular anymore. Can then enjoy the open spaces as they're intended to be enjoyed.

Awesome! Can't wait to visit with the kids!

A few people I know were waiting impatiently for the park to open and see the first reviews, it seems they are quite happy with what they read because they are already planning in detail their visit.

I think Kids will see through this one quickly, and loose interest.

As Adults, we should be putting more into researching an immersive experience, without requiring VR headsets, but something which would totally blow the mind away of both Adults and Kids alike.

We don't need static statues and models - where's the fun in that ? Were I a Kid, I'd want to walk around the sets and interactively speak to the characters, run and play with them even. (This is where Meta really messed up with their Billions of $).

Excellent, 1000 times better than Disney..

Ha haaa! Now I'll nourish the child within me!
