The typhoon is forecast to have a maximum wind speed of 126 kilometers per hour in wide areas, including the southern Kyushu, Shikoku, Kinki and Tokai regions.

Good to read this report mention the potential for strong winds over wide areas of Honshu. Stay safe. tie down, bring in, things that can blow away.

Stay safe.

Won't everyone's masks get very wet? Why not just take them off when outdoors?

Why would anyone be outside in the middle of a typhoon?

To all JT readers, don't go to rooftop to see typhoon XD

This typhoon is basically a miserable cold rain soaker. And it’s drifting away from Japan - actually turning southeast. Very unusual. But good news for those fearing wind damage.

Make sure you wear a hardhat when outdoors, like all the TV reporters.

It's a catergory 1 typhoon, soon to downgrade to a tropical storm, and is not going to make landfall.

Relatively speaking - not a "powerful typhoon"

The best time to do roof maintenance is during a typhoon. You can see which ceramic tiles are weak in the gale winds.

WINK WINK ; )

There's always going to be that ONE person that HAS to record it for their YouTube channel.

Of course, I’d forgotten that. I was going to check my roof this morning but it turns out the wind isn’t strong enough, all we’ve got is rain. If it gets heavier !’ll have to go out and check on the local river.

Less a typhoon, more a gale...

Don't let a typhoon make you afraid, just do the right thing, wear a raincoat even if you are driving and don't forget the mask, you never know
