WOW! Now that the USA gives their seal of approval to the J government, Fukushima,Tepco I can breath a huge sigh of relief. (NOT!!) Humbling experience say Mr.Jazco, sure humbling for us here in Tokyo who were without electricity, without gasoline, and food, etc..running out in our super markets, I really doubt Tepco felt humbled by this, stupid idiot fools at TEPCO!!

humbling for us here in Tokyo who were without electricity

When did that happen? I remember announcements that it was going to happen but my electricity here in Nakano didn't go off once!

Still, it is good that you are more knowledgable about what is happening than the nuclear safety chief of America - I don't know why TEPCO haven't come to ask the experts on here for help!!!

Measures taken by Japan have been consistent with how the U.S. would handle a similar crisis, he said.

I read that about three mile island too. THey lied and did not evacuate even maggots.

@yildiray, great living in Nakano ku and the other 22 kus that never got their electricity CUT OFF, but if you want some information, the REST OF TOKYO, out side of the 23 kus, wards, we had black outs, rolling black outs, quite a few accidents because no electricity means no functioning stop lights, people going to intersections and crashing and dying etc..this is life outside of down town Tokyo, or that is what it was like for a few weeks, months after March 11, I was here before, during, and after, sending international volunteers up to Ishinomaki etc..their translator.

Farmboy: "Measures taken by Japan have been consistent with how the U.S. would handle a similar crisis, he said." Sorry to hear that, and I wonder if the talk radio shows will be repeating this little soundbite.

Yes, he is clearly an idiot and in fact here in the US his tenure is extremely controversial. He may not have that position much longer.
