That's the problem ... bad eyesight. Which side? I don't know. I haven't seen the video myself.
Thing is, a video taken from a moving helicopter several hundred meters above ground level can't seriously be used as evidence. There are so many factors that may have distorted the image taken, or even the actual presence of reflective items (which may just be some metal, plastic items, or maybe even water) as definitive proof. It may just be a mirage.

When will the real truth come out.

The reaction of the United States government was prudent, to say the least. It's officials were at that point concerned about protecting its citizens and those of the world, for that matter. This posture stands in contrast to that of Japan's officials.

So big deal... He was doing his job, worst case scenario... Even if it never ran dry...
You would think Japan would have bigger things to worry about than what some official from the U.S. sent back home, especially 6 months after the fact. I think this is so typical of Japan in general, to get so worked up about something so silly, that you spend all day fussing over it, and on top of that, it was something so trivial, that at the end of the day, it has absolutely no bearing, what-so-ever, on the price of rice in china.

I clearly remember the conservatives in the US and some posters on this website slamming Hillary Clinton when she came out, just after the disaster occurred, and said a barge full of clean water and supplies were being shipped to Japan. Everyone was like, "water??" and made fun of it as some petty gesture. I’m guessing now the selective memory of the Clinton critics has erased those comments from their minds. But it looked like that is exactly what was needed.

She was not kidding. As a matter of fact, on 3/21, all US tourists were discouraged (almost banned) to go to Japan and all Americans living within 200 km from Fukushima were advised to leave by the State Dept. I guess US was always ahead of game assessing the true consequence from the beginning while Japan was still in denial.

Global, there was voluntary repatriation of US citizens, women and children here in Japan but for US military, not for us regular folk, so please get your facts correct before you post them up here. Many other countries did send charter planes etc..to get their nationals out, including Mexico, Colombia etc..

Mabodofu has a good question, yes! When will the TRUTH actually be revealed?? Maybe when we are too old to even remember our own names, our kid's names, our grandchildren's names etc..many many years from now, oh yeah, remember back in 2011, that big quake up in Fukushima with some or other about some nuclear power plant, ok, sure what ever where are my pampers and get me my dentures too, mucking around at some old folks home, and then and only then will the J government/Tepco try and come clean about all of this.

Mexicano, I was told some regular Americans got free vouchers flying back home. Not true?

@mexicano, Please read what I have posted carefully.
Because of the US State Dept decisions on 3/21, we(US) were not told the final destinations of Japan until last minutes. I was not a tourist. I was in mission.
