Will this bow and fund can be truly realized without his action in September 2020?

Setting up this fund in anticipation of payouts is an admission of guilt.

It’s unbelievable that it took a high profile murder to final make progress in protecting people from this vile organization.

Yeah yeah yeah. This defiled cult is trying to show how good they really are. Too late. You guys reek. Hope you just go broke.

Interesting how they will allow the government to manage the fund. Maybe just another way for them give money to the LDP who really don't want to see them lose their status as they lose a big chunk of money and support during elections!

Did you actually read the article?

On Tuesday, Tanaka told reporters that the group is ready to deposit a fund of 6 billion yen to 10 billion yen to the government if can set up a system to receive it.

This is a great cop out here. The government accepting funds, from a private religious organization, to use in refunding or compensating people who were in effect, ripped off by them.

Talk about the blind leading the blind!

I am quite sure a large percentage of this would be wasted in "administrative" costs too! Not to mention that the government will probably tax the beneficiaries of any money received too!

SURE,

Give back what you have STOLEN then LEAVE PLEASE.

14 ( +16 / -2 )

The fact they have so much money. It almost looks like money used to buy souls for the devil.

Pay this massive amount, to then continuing doing their business as usual (enticing & stealing from those in weak stages of life).

10 billion yen set as compensation?

Far less than the money you U.C. has stolen, fraud, intimidation and other types of criminal method taken from the poor and naive believers for 60 plus years. Don't let that U.C. run away, this man and alot of U.C. staffs were thieves wearing tidy suits and bowing at you now!

Why is this happening? What brought this so called church and it's actions to the attention of the public? Without the murder of Abe, this would not have happened. There would be no compensation, no fund, no apology and more families would be destroyed and financially ruined. Obviously nobody is condoning murder or violence but at least Yamagami's homemade gun brought down the U.C in Japan.

TOKYO

The Unification Church’s Japanese branch announced plans Tuesday to set aside a fund up to 10 billion yen to cover possible compensation for those seeking damages they say were caused by the group’s manipulative fundraising tactics.

So to atone for fundraising tactics, they are going to raise more funds. LOL. Shut them down, shut them up. The politicians will survive without a few bribes.

The L.D.P. has been protecting their sugar daddy U.C. since Kishi-era (Late 1950s). Ask the previous Japanese PM or more ministers Ina state testimony who were still living, ask them what role did U.C. played in Japanese politics. Ask Abe's widow how much involvement did her husband got in with U.C. This is a very big scandal must be exposed to the public!

...bow at the start of a press conference in Tokyo on Tuesday.

Picture is deceiving and makes it seem as if they are remorseful. I wonder how much of the 10 billion is going to the LDP and will the UC still keep their religious status?

Too many things in the article stink, but here are just two.

Quote: He (tanaka) offered his “sincere apology” over the sufferings and difficulty of former followers and their families, but denied his group made any wrongdoings.

So all has been sweetness and light?

Quote: Tanaka denied that the group intended to transfer funds overseas.

Oh, so the recent panic message to individual members to 'stay legal by keeping your donation money under ¥1,000,000 each when you fly to South Korea' was not an attempt to move funds abroad then?

The church is a religion of peace. It's just a small number of adherents who don't represent everyone there.

The church is a religion of peace. It's just a small number of adherents who don't represent everyone there.

And no one noticed the amassing of 6 to 10 billion surplus yen by these adherents? A church or cult of willing participants that couldn't control this "small number of adherents? A few billion yen spent and we will have a rinse and repeat.

If the cult can afford a Y10 billion PR fund, then the culting buisness must be booming.

This looks more like a bribe than an honest atonement for their ways. They don't want to lose their tax exampt status so this may help lawmakers vote against that idea. A vile group they are.

The U.C. was founded in 1950s, South Korea by the director of KCIA Kim Jon-Pil.The purpose of that religious organisation was to brainwashing the South Korean people with strong anti-Communist mania. A mind control program to stabilise South Korean people after the Korean war. At that time the South Korean govt was very corrupted and unstable. The Japanese PM of 1957 Nobusuke Kishi(Abe's uncle) see this is a method to control the Japanese people to prevent Japan leftist and Communists take up the nation. But after decades of corruption, the U.C. became above law and controlling the Japanese politics and politicians. If Mr.Kishida attempt to disband the U.C., he will be in dire dangerous, at least his popularity will drop and kicked out of office by L.D.P. monsters.

There are so many other cult religious groups in Japan but of course UC is the biggest one! They took the full brunt of criticism only because of its links to Korea and global operations. The smaller cult organization operated by local Japanese can definitely pick up the members from UC who are lost in life and look for guidance. The blame not only falls on UC for manipulating these lost humans… more blame should be placed on the Japanese society, family members, acquaintances and friends who cause stress and depression for these lost humans and push them to the waiting arms of cult religious groups like UC! Family members, acquaintances, friends and Japanese society as a whole is the major villain in these situations!

The Unification Church was created by the KCIA (Korean CIA), and you can guess who created and gave orders to the KCIA.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

That’s not gonna do much for the family of ex-PM Abe.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

What the UC is paying out is nothing they are paying money out to have a main stay. The pittance of yen they offered is nothing compared to what they will get back in return. Point "the experts said and the mind set of the UC has not changed "Experts say Japanese followers are asked to pay for sins committed by their ancestors during Japan’s 1910-1945 colonial rule of the Korean Peninsula, and that the majority of the church’s worldwide funding comes from Japan". It's obvious he wants to pay money to buy the UC out in hopes of preventing the UC organization from having their religious status revoked. Tanaka thinks bowing out and paying money is an easy way out, but still deny any wrong doing by the UC. If I were Japan I will ask them to pay a fine and take that money and pay back those families they stiffed then I would revoke their CON status!!!

I saw a Hong Kong TV documentary program from ATV(Chinese) in 1996, a H.K. guy was interviewed by the news anchor, he said he had made huge contributions to U.C. because he wanted to marry a Japanese woman and a Japanese woman show up said she is satisfied the "Lord Moon" chosen a good husband for her and she respected that UC leader "Moon SunMing" very much. I have no idea how much authenticity of that couple claimed but when everyyear they held their mass international weddings ceremony in Seoul, you can estimate how much money the U.C. taken through such contributions. The U.C. existing in Hong Kong legally but they kept themselves very discreet and very low profile, they knows the communist hates them. Actually nobody cares their ideology but still some local men wants to marry Japanese or Korean woman through them.

He said the government request for a dissolution order is unacceptable “from the viewpoint of religious freedom and

unacceptable…

get a grip tanaka! Who died and made you president?

Lotta big talk for this gang of never pay 1 yen tax, billions of yen to throw around, fraud volunteer voters and prey on the weak prayer circle. Totally Unserious dangerous looters. 10 yen bandit and pickles and beer got cuffed for way less. Apologies? Get outta here.

Zionists, oligarchs and other crazy capitalists - Jesuits - CIA - KCIA - Unification Church.

Because of this structure, money can be created as much as possible. They are the ones who usually exploit and suck up the money, so 10 billion yen is just a fraction of a penny.
