I hope nature will have some mercy and spares the life of some of them. But this is very bad news, whoever bounces and flounces in the open sea :(

Lost at sea in a typhoon, I cant imagine. Don't understand why the skipper did not head for smoother areas. Dont drive through a storm fully loaded. God bless all their souls and families.

The captain must be held liable for the death of his crew and the livestock. How will all these widows carry on with their lives?!

In this era, big ships mostly have the capacity to monitor weather trends via satellite imagery. The captain should have known where the typhoon was, where it was going, and should have steered clear. Not doing so, with a ship that may have been poorly maintained, has had unfortunate but predictable results. May the crew rest in peace.
