That's the same company who sold untested Tamiflu when swine flu was present only to find out many people got birth damage later from it. Are you all so forgetful?

We will see if this works. And this is how trusted allied nations work together.

In contrast;

"... manufacturing a copycat to a patent-protected med at scale without any license is an unusual move that could revive concerns about the protection of intellectual property in the country."

Gilead's Remdesivir is a poisonous inefficient "medicine". What a shame....

Not only it doesn't help to cure anything but it has disastrous side effects.... But governments are do desperate they they would take anything to say "we're doing something"....

Very sad for people who'll receive Remdesivir

Japan has had about 16,000 infections and 687 deaths from the coronavirus outbreak, much lower than many industrialised nations.

Here we go again. Do we have to be kept reminded. The more it appears the more it sounds as bragging

Why would Reuters ever "brag" about Japan?

Japan's share will last a long time due to Japanese government's refusal to test and confirm coronavirus cases.

No confirmed coronavirus case = no Remdesivir injection!

Donation?

Free guinea pigs in my humble opinion.

Nothing wrong with that, but call it as it is, no charity PR please.

"Gilead said the drug has improved outcomes for people suffering from the respiratory disease and has provided data suggesting it works better when given in the early stages of infection."

Good luck if you can get treated in the early stages as everyone flees the scene.
