Japan defense ministry reports sexual harassment case in MSDF

The victim, who was of a lower rank than the perpetrator, consulted her direct superior about the issue, but the unit's No. 2 failed to immediately report it to senior authorities, 

That's how most of Japanese get rid problem, just pretend it doesn't exist by either not reporting it or try to under reporting it.

The probe covered all SDF units and was conducted from September 2022 to August this year, with the ministry receiving over 1,300 reports of abuses of power, as well as sexual and other forms of harassment.

Need some public exposure to finally admit their problem really exist.

At least they acknowledge when they have recruitment problem.

When I saw this news on TV, I thought it was a he, but then I realized it was a she!!!

Or option 3, reporting it but the lazy Police saying it would be too difficult to investigate as it was A's word against B's and best if they just forget it and be more careful.
