Japan expands hog cholera vaccinations to 8 areas next to outbreaks

Just a reminder that vegetables don't require vaccinations

The slow start was entirely due to the fact that by initiating a vaccination program, one had to accept that there was a problem - and the govt was unwilling to do so.

Why? Because if you have confirmed widespread swine flu (ie vaccines are necessary), you get a black mark on the international scene.

You gotta keep up that squeaky clean agricultural image - even if it isn't.
