I would rather deep sea exploration and advancement. We need to focus on Earth and stop wasting our precious time, fuel and money on the moon.

i agree with you, but in this case, this is inevitable. if you consider what we already achieved and what we still want to achieve in the future, this is very basic. and imo i think it,s good for Japan to be a part of it.

Right now all humanities eggs are in the one basket. We need to have a fallback for survival of the species should the worst occur. Space exploration and colonization must continue to move forward.
