Mr. G
Its great that Japan is helping Vietnam. Vietnam is the most honest nation on Earth and if they say something is theirs, well, surely it must be.

They want to buy decommissioned JCG vessels which obviously have been "tested" while in commission.

Coast guard ships to Vietnam and submarines to Australia. The Japanese economy is getting a boost from China's aggression.

Good on you Japan, your courage to help Vietnam is priceless. It is time for Vietnam communist party to abandon the communist ideology and move toward democracy society, and embrace your new friendships. I hope Vietnam can get through this difficult time, their people has enough pains and suffering in the last 100 years. Hope Japan can and will continue to play a major part in the South East Asia.

Coast guard ships from Japan , very good for chasing Chinese thief out of Vietnam's waters. Vietnam should have policy of buying "Made in Japan", but anything "Made in China" you can have it for free (already paid for by .Chinese illegal activities in its territory , its waters).hah.

****it will be great if Japan and Vietnam can establish a Joint-Fishing Cooperation in the sea zone where the Chinese illegal dig on. Japan has one of the best fishing industry in the world who could provide a lot of advice and assistance in this area. And just imagine of around 50 fishing boat with Japanese & Vietnamese flags sailing in the waters near disputed South East Sea islets! Will China dare to be more aggressive!?

“We do not want to fight to get a winner or loser with them, what we want is peace and territorial sovereignty and integrity.”
then why do you want to buy Japanese untested ships? But, it's alright if free gift from Japan !
