Because everyone has the right to see all of Sony's information. Apparently.

This is going to cause a lot of big names a lot of headaches — lots of dirty secrets.
I was searching through the recently released Sony e-mails on the WikiLeaks archive and within a few minutes stumbled across a forwarded email purportedly from Christiane Amanpour (CNN) claiming to have been threatened by Bill Clinton. I am not sure what to make of it (I hope it is a fabrication, I am fond of both of Amanpour and Clinton).
Here is the link (Amanpour e-mail at the bottom of the page): https://wikileaks.org/sony/emails/emailid/130611

I never did trust Bill.

privacy is privacy and it's immoral to read stolen letters...

"WkiLeaks has said the documents are of public interest because the company is an influential corporation with ties to the White House, able to impact laws and policies, and with connections to the U.S. military-industrial complex."
Maybe they have sometimes served a good purpose but this seems a bit far-fetched. At what point does it become a case of "Who cares?"

For what purpose? I understand exposing dirty secrets of governments but what's the point on making public e-mails and and private conversations of normal people or some company?

This is just useless, it is creating chaos for the sake of just creating chaos. I hope they get caught.

Most wikileaks are fakes paid by a third party. What credibility do they have? Assange is running from a rape case.

Regardless of whatever reason or rational WikiLeaks may come up with...
Using stolen information is still "theft" at a much more dangerous level.
Any putting what is "private" and "confidential" information is in itself a cyber-crime and in this case a form of cyber-terrorism because the "intent" is to "hurt" and "damage", even possibly "destroy."
If one cannot see through this... then, something is really wrong with the world.
