Why do some of these stars clasp their hands like that? This is Japan, not Cambodia or Thailand. Kiefer's adviser should have told him to simply wave or bow, if he wishes.

Yes, many over here can relate to this show as a Jack Bauer day is about the same length as the average salary man's workday.

Watched the entire season almost a year ago. Many US TV shows can now be watched online without having to download. Too bad many Japanese fans of the show cannot understand English well and need Japanese subtitles.

At least he's trying.

I'm pretty sure he's begging right there, for the major market that is Japan to keep lapping it up.

8th and final season

What? Grow some and keep going until the 24th season, for Pete's sake (who's Pete?)

He may just be clapping his hands together.

He looks a bit like an uncle or something though.

Most of the sales reps. do it in Japan when they are out and about, Kiefer's on to it.

very boring season it was

The last season was pretty good.... that's "was", as in it was over long ago. 24 is evidently not as smart as other lame series in putting a famous Japanese actor/actress in for a cameo -- guaranteed way of having it air at roughly the same time... well, assuming it says nothing about Japan in a bad light.

Anyway, I guess this means it will be on Fox Japan in about two years; following about a million 'catch up!' repeats of every season three times a week.

I hope somebody also told him that Japanese don't have black hair. All these stupid stereotypes going round.

I thought he was in jail.

Season 8 is the greatest season with the possible exception of season 4.

"Sutherland... promised fans plenty of thrills with the movie version"

I hear Jack Bauer is going to walk into a McDonald's after 1030AM and get breakfast!

He's had issues with alcohol abuse in the past, so he should feel very comfortable in Tokyo. No need to get behind the wheel of a car.

I watched the first 2 seasons of this show before I had to quit. It was simply too far fetched.

Just another 'formula' TV show. Something to watch when there's absolutley nothing else on to do, and a stretch even then.

"very boring series"

Ha ha ha! I'd hate to hear what you'd say about... never mind.

"I watched the first 2 seasons of this show before I had to quit..."

You missed six great seasons.

"... It was simply too far fetched"

Or, you didn't like to see terrorists properly dealt with.
