Apparently she does her own hair. She apparently has a picture unbraided in Wikipedia. And yes, she'll be 49 this year.

There're many 49 year old women who still look good, in fact better than average 30 year olds. So, I'm not surprised. I've just read about Valerie Bertinelli. She's 48.

Ukraine!!??? why are we talking about her hair?? her country is an utter shambles and to quote the BBC - the closest country in the world to a complete financial meltdown. They cant get IMF loans, their banks are broke.

She probably only here in Japan to schmooze up to Aso.

i'm surprised nobody mentioned that she is essentially an oligarch and she attained her later wealth like every other oligarch.

The "Economist" has called Tymoshenko "the most beautiful woman in politics" - as if that really matters. I imagine Aso is contemplating things other than whirled peas though....

Unfortunately Ukraine really is an economic mess. A lot of that is due to Russian bullying and a fair part to corruption. Japanese handouts would probably be the only thing to keep them afloat at this point. But China has more cash. Why is she in Japan?
