Protesters holding placards shout slogans during a rally for the fourth straight day against Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's administration and his security-related legislation, near the Diet building in Tokyo on Saturday. Placards read in Japanese "Abe politics is unforgivable."

Abe has to go!

This is one of the things that will become illegal.

No demonstrations under Abe's regime!

The LDP has to go too.

As long as the protesters are tucked away in the corner to be ignored the politicians can and will ignore them. Get more than a few hundred people, and march

I guess what's left, is worth risking, a gamble only a fool would take.

Keep it up, people! The government is not listening one little bit, that's for sure, but others are, and when those others join in, and their friends and loved ones, someone MIGHT come along who DOES listen and challenge the current government on their policies. And THAT will hurt them.

Abe will continue to push whatever bills or plans he wants since the shadow government is in power now and there is nothing the Japanese people can do except yell as loud as they want or can but it will not change what is now in motion. The Japanese are too divided to do anything and that is what will make Abe even stronger to do what he and his backroom buddies want for Japan.

They need some of that "grey power" to get Abe to POSSIBLY change.

I bet $1 dollar Abe will win this.

Sadly, these protest appear to be JUST AS ORGANIZED as the politicians they oppose. They are all holding the same cards. Which means it's NOT ORGANIC. Which means it will only be viewed as a political ploy to be dealt with.

Wake me up with protesters in Japan start throwing bricks through government windows (not harming anybody, of course).

They are said to receive carfare and/or wages by labor unions. As a rule, labor unions are not so rich. I doubt that the source of the money is the nation.

Government must investigate whether these demonstrations are sponsored by external inimical powers ? PM Abe is pursing policies in the best long term interest of Japan.

It's tame compared to the ANPO days. 4 days means it was organized by those with no jobs. I'm also guessing those who are forced to "teinen" who only wished to participate in the heat of ANPO demonstrations that their "Seinpai" participated in.
