Men wearing cardboard hats depicting the Apple Watch, pose for photos in front of the Apple store in Tokyo's Omotesando shopping district on Friday. Apple Inc expects tremendous interest for its new smartwatch and demand to outstrip supply as consumers get an up-close look on Friday at CEO Tim Cook's first major product.

There's nothing impressive about the iWatch. It's like a shitty version of the iphone, but more expensive.

But that's Android, it lacks the "it" factor, you know.

Yes.
What's your point?

So they are impressed by something that has been available to android users for years?

Geeks for sure and all in fun, but for me, the Apple watch is overpriced.

Afraid that all they will accomplish today is to get a sniff of the watch or perhaps be able try one on...
It has been reporting for the last couple of weeks that....
"Apple will not be accepting walk-in orders for the Apple Watch during the first weeks following launch. All orders must be placed online"...

You assume the world and everyone revolves around the same schedule as you? How dare you be online, posting on this site at 3:17 p.m. on a week day! haha. See how it works? Who knows what you're doing now -- it's none of our business. Maybe these guys have the day off. Maybe they missed the exam cut and have a year to study. Maybe they don't work Fridays. Maybe they work the night shift. Who cares? It's a product for sale, and they want it. Agree it's hugely overpriced, but if they want it and have the money, it's their prerogative.
I'll let these guys find all the initial flaws in the product and pick mine up second generation and hopefully a little cheaper.

I believe they're called geeks overseas.
