People crowd the annual Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse Christmas Market on Wednesday night. The German-style market has European gifts, seasonal foods and traditional Christmas ornaments for sale. The illuminated Christmas tree draws throngs of seasonal selfie seekers and people looking for the merriest Instagram or Tik Tok moment. The Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse Christmas Market is open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. until Dec. 25.

Looks gimmicky. Nothing like the ones back home.
Mr Kipling
If it is "traditional German" then all the staff have to be from Poland or Rumania.

You wanted a authentic European Christmas market experience and you got one!
Right down to the overpriced food and drink. Tip is to eat standing up.

Better bring your own food and stools!
My experience @ Yokohama & Hibiya Christmas Market last year were pretty much the same: queue for several minutes to get overpriced sausages and then wander around for some 10 min. to find where to eat with my family. Sausages and drinks were already cold at that point. Atmosphere is great for pictures, souvenirs and maybe a hot drink, but just not worth eating there. Hopefully the much smaller Christmas Market at Sky Tree wont be too crowded.
