I remember !!! It was 1977, married less than one year when I rented an Camp Zama MWR mini bus and bunch of my Japanese employees and family members went on a tour. Kurobe Dam and surroundings was breath taking beauty.

This is epic at Autumn leaves time. There is also a multiday hike through the gorge I want to do sometime. Parts of the path are cut into cliff faces.
