Yamamoto Taro stands out among the soulless gazes of the rest of the candidates. Godspeed to him.

No comments, no articles on the exorbitant noize pollution during those "erekushyon" times?

Similar scenes in my neighborhood. A lot of fresh young faces too. The parties deserve a lot of credit for the creativity and imagination used in designing these posters. Good luck to all the candidates during this exciting time!

There are too many single-issue candidates. They ought to combine to create a stronger opposition. And yes, the worst thing about election time.... Tokyo gets even more mind-crushingly noisy than usual.

The designers also deserve praise for using Photoshop correctly when whitening the teeth.

Would also like to know how many of these so-called "veteran" politicians posters are actually featuring recent photos?

I remember the last posters for Abe and Suga showing what suspiciously looked like photos close to a decade-old or photos making heavy use of photoshop face-lifting...

To be balanced, to me all the posters close to the right corner of the above photo (except possibly the Sugahara Miyuki and Yamada Taro-ones) look heavily photoshopped to the point where it looks like these people are wearing human face-masks...

In the most super-aging country in the world and despite being in that racket for decades, do politicians seem to have issues accepting that they are growing old...
