Abe arrives in U.S.

and doesn't look too happy to be there judging by his face.

It's really unusual for a US president to have a 2-day bilateral meeting with a foreign leader, particularly one from Asia. Trump wants to find out who Abe is. Is he really a friend to US or not? Is he trustworthy or not?

This may be partially due to his newly informed understanding of Chinese imperialism. As South Korea in political turmoil, the Philippines leader turning into an anti-US, and other Asian counties being too weak, probably Japan has quickly become an important US ally in Asia once again in his eyes.

I've got to get my eyes checked because I can barely see Abe's face.

Aly, a person's face at any given moment is rarely indicative of anything. This is the technique used by fake news and gossip sites. Snap a picture of a famous couple X just as Mrs. X notices her heels hurt - then use that to build a story on how she doesn't look happy to be with Mr. X.

All this pictures shows is that it was cold and windy on the tarmac, and that something to their left caught the eyes of Mr. and Mrs. Abe.

It was bitterly cold at that time last night. I saw their arrival on the TV news. Nothing unusual about how they look.

Not making gossip-merely an observation.
