French director Luc Besson, center, poses with French actress Louise Bourgoin, left, and Japanese "talent" Aki Hoshino during a promotional event for his new movie "The Extraordinary Adventures of Adèle Blanc-Sec," which opens in Japan on July 3. Hoshino asked Besson if he could cast her in his next movie and the director replied that if she turned up wearing that mini-skirt, nobody would get any work done.

What's wrong with her arm?

Thank you again JT for bigger photos.

I wouldn't mind that mini-skirt. I'd cast Hoshino Aki everytime she'd want to, if you catch my drift...

He was being polite. Get Olive Oyl off the stage. It is not her limelight.

"What's wrong with her arm?"

Louise's or Aki's?

Aki's got that big belt pulled up high to keep her breasts from sagging.

I like the way 'talent' is highlighted - could even be 'child talent' by the looks of her..

Lucky Luc...what i wouldn't give to stand next to Aki...my fav!

he's gained weight.

Okay, I know what "director" means and "actress" is pretty easy to figure out! Will somebody explain why the Japanese seem to love using the word "talent" Why not be specific? Can she sing, act, dance? If all she can do is stand there looking good then "eye candy" would be more appropriate.

I think the atrcress is the best, yummy wummy. Love to take her out for the night i can tell you.

Aki's waist is so slim she could use a Cheerio as a belt!!!

Poor Aki is completely outclassed by Louise Bourgoin, but, hey, Luc Besson's probably not that concerned.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

That makes two of us, my2sense. Aki can't hold a candle to Louise.

What the hell is wrong with Hoshino's legs? Can someone please remove these stupid tarentos - I just don't see how they're beneficial to this planet.

The talented Luc Besson, writer/director of films like The Fifth Element and La Femme Nikita.

Ms. Bourgoin was stunning and sexy in La Fille de Monaco.

Kimoi...That JLady has no comparison to that classy lady....get off the stage, why do they need jladies always on those movie premiere stages...there not even in the movie.

puke, "tarentos" like Hoshino Aki are nice to look at. So please do not remove them.

Hoshino asked Besson if he could cast her in his next movie and the director replied that if she turned up wearing that mini-skirt, nobody would get any work done. *

I bet he wouldn't mind her showing up in that mini-skirt on the casting couch.

Who is the dreadful poodle girl?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

kadenmaya -- agree completely, one is a sexy woman, and the other is just a trying-to-be-sexy girl. Unfortunately, however, as we both know, we are in the extreme minority here in Japan. Which is why virtually every J-gal under the age of about 30 is dressing like Aki this summer. Tired of it already, and it is only June.

I've seen the sexy photos, but I have to say she looks very unattractive here.

Louise Bourgoin just gave me a reason to go to France. Holy smokes!! Hoshino looks like a child compared to her!

0 ( +0 / -0 )

You can just tell the difference between those women, one is pure class and the other is all kawaii

0 ( +0 / -0 )

why is this socalled talent wearing that weird outfit and stupid hat while the two others are wearing nice and classy clothes?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Aki is not showing her best assets this time... very unusual :-)

Hoshino:

I honestly wonder how many directors, agencies etc. she has 'pleased' or 'satisfied' in order to keep her talent role....

Frankly, if I were a famous star that flew all the way across the world to promote a film and its cast members, I think would be a little perturbed to see that the venue had arranged for some airheaded bimbo to crowd the stage and cramp my style. Can't they get this stuff prohibited in their contracts??

Hoshino asked Besson if he could cast her in his next movie and the director replied that if she turned up wearing that mini-skirt, nobody would get any work done.

Is that a nice way of telling Hoshino..."well, no"

Luc Besson is the freakin man.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Wonder how old Louise is. Pretty gal.

Besson put on some weight. At that rate he's gonna look like Dom DeLuise in his later years.

French director Luc Besson, center, poses with his next ex-wife, actress Louise Bourgoin,

Fixed that for ya!

kadenmaya: so true, comparing to french this j.lady looks ugly in this cheap outfit, good only for 3rd cast in Moulin Rouge

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Aki Hoshino still has that girl-next-door look.. and she has everything.. her outfit is really not showing her truly exceptional body.. so to me this tells me that she was intentionally dressing for the more fresh kawaii look rather than trying to show sex appeal, and honestly if you look online for her pictures.. and there are literally thousands of them.. you will find that Aki Hoshino is MUCH more than what this picture alone will let you see.

Mikanojo: i did it- googled both.No comparison at all, one is a classy lady and another one is just cheap – pretending – to be – super sexy girl

0 ( +0 / -0 )

I do not think that such traits as tall, blonde, and anorexia are particularly attractive - at least not to me. Money does not equal class as you cannot buy virtues, and Hoshino~san has never had any cosmetic surgery that i am aware of - that means she is all-real. As far as sekushi.. Hoshino~san is so popular BECAUSE she has that girl-next-door look, not because she looks like some statuesque fashion crime victim. You can have make-up and skin-stretched-over-bones if that is your kink.. i much rather enjoy looking at a real woman.

Hoshino may be well-meaning, but she's way too squeaky for my taste. She has a squeaky voice and a squeaky personality. Louise has that je ne sais quoi that all those French actresses have -- some combination of poise and a sense of being comfortable with herself.
