I want one! (The hat, that is.)

Is the guy in the green shirt wearing diapers?

I still can't believe people wait in line for an Iphone...waste of time when you can get a Galaxy SIII :)
papasmurfinjapan
I hope they don't get lost on their way home when using Apple Maps.

People don't want the clunky, plastic, cheap-looking Galaxy SIII. By the end of the year, iPhone 5 will have outsold Galaxy SIII even though the SIII came out earlier.
Drdolittle2
They must have got paid to put on those silly hats...

Hell no! I'm not getting that. I'm good with the 4. I can't have a phone that out smart me. lol

@papasmurfinjapan; yeah, exactly. I suppose these kind of people sum up the average Apple user; the are interested in toys, and that is what they get given. The GPS services on any iPhone are pitiful!

The Apple vs. Samsung lawsuit and Apple's subsequent victory appears to have paid off in spades. Here's to the iPhone 5.

People being defined by their gadgets rather than the other way round. Guess that is the way the world is nowadays.

@IlvtheDucks
or wait a few days and leisurely buy any phone you want

Apple should release these new phones on Halloween. You can imagine what a party that would be.
Alex Einz
neets with no life waiting to buy a shiny gadget that they dont really need. its quite sad really

Good times for Apple. Despite the misstep with the Maps feature this release is likely to blow away the Samsung Galaxy in sales. Apple seems to be on the right track even with Jobs gone.

Galaxy SIII outperformes the Iphone 4 in nearly all benchmark testing, Iphoney lovers would still buy an Iphone even if it was dipped in poo, brainwashed by Apples PR juggernaut. LOL

For what it's worth I'm no iPhone freak but do own Apple products (phone is a Galaxy though). It's not just that folks want the iPhones because their brainwashed. Apple stuff just works together nicely. If I download an app or an album on iTunes on my computer at home, the music just automatically ends up on my iPod, iPad and other devices (if I had an iPhone). The whole syncing features work very nice. Have to manually up the Galaxy to put my music on it.

It looks as though the biggest casualties of Apple's 'thermonuclear war' are in-fact Apple users themselves, who have to make do with the vastly inferior maps application. To date, the war has had no impact whatsoever on Android users.

Yeah, except that the Galaxy SIII is a clunky, plastic, piece of rubbish when you look at the case design. The iPhone is a crafted device.
Which Apple PR juggernaut would that be...? All they did was have a release announcement. Nothing more than other companies do.
papasmurfinjapan
lol... the poo dipping is a patented anti-theft device.
Jason Baugher
2020hindsights, have you ever used an SIII? Apparently not, if you think it's clunky.
wtfjapan
SIII clunky haha youve never even used it, ive used both the Iphone & S3 and the S3 dumps all over the Iphone just waiting until the S4 rumours it got much better graphics and faster quad core processor even though the S3 is already impressive. and with all the bugs in the Iphone 5 , wait Apple doesnt get bugs wright LOL
papasmurfinjapan
No, but the iPhone's spelling auto-correction feature seems to be better than the S3's... : )

IPoop heads!!

iPhones 4 EVER !!!!!
2020hindsights
Don't have to use it to declare it clunky. I was referring to the physical design. However, I have used an SIII (but not for long) - my friend has one.

Cel-phone wise I am happy with my Xperia(does what I need it for), wife had a 3g and I am typing from an iMac
Usually rides in my hip-carrier and I use a Bluetooth Headset for calls. Interesting what the different models and makers sell for at the local Book-Off.
CNN has an article up about who should upgrade and who shouldn't, looks like 4 and 4S will still be around for some time.
