Can't blame 'em. The best smartphone in the world just gets better every year...

The stare on the lady's face on the right shows how happy she is...!

Hmmm, i've skipped a couple generations of phones - time to upgrade - i think i'll get the Note 3

I don't blame 'em for wanting the latest iPhone. However, I refuse to wait in line to pay full price. If I replace my iPhone 5 (not likely), I'll definitely buy online.

Staff is very friendly at Ginza Apple store according to my experience. Unlike, say, staff at Bic Camera that wants to force-sell me all kind of unwanted garbage and additional contracts together with an iPad.

An apple a day keeps the keyboard away

Gotta love the iMac helmet in the foreground!

Not a smile between them, you'll notice. If I was excited about something in the imminent future, you'd spot a bit of joy on my face.

Are these people that waited days or up to a week outside? Probably questioning if they really needed it today.

Rotten to the core. Terrible customer service. NEVER again will I, mine or theirs take a bite.

LOL. Guess that's why they're starting to imitate Android...

are those fones unlocked? if so, they likely sell over 150000Y (1500usd).
or are they controlled by the japanese price fixing mobile co's?
it's surely good hot tech, but who needs it with samson around, they make better and cheaper

Imitate android? That's an interesting comment considering Apple introduced smart phones and iOS.
I went down to my local SoftBank store at 2pm today and got a 32GB iPhone 5S. There was three people in the store and I was there less than an hour. Why are all these sheeple lined up? How about the clowns that camped there during the typhoon on the weekend? I can't understand it!

@USNinJapan2 - Android isn't a phone... but perhaps the stlye of iOS 7 is trying to mimic how the Android OS looks. My 3GS isn't iOS 7 capable but from the pics I've seen (I also have a Nexus 10 tab) it looks kinda similar

And thats why I use a Samsung Galaxy!

Even if the iPhone was the best out there the premium price make it the wrong choice. But some people pay a lot for fashion. I guess it's their money....

Might want to check your information. Microsoft and other companies had smart phones and mobile operating systems YEARS before the iphone saw the light of day.
