"Meet the abductees." These people are everywhere. Love them or hate them, they seem to have an incidious ability to get their message across.

Is it just me, or is Angelina spreading herself around a bit thin these days?

Somehow I like the look of her now much more than in her diva / tomb raider days.

Her collar bones are way to much outward. She`s getting a little bit more than just skinny.

seesaw -- Don't agree. I'd wager that you could stop 100 adults at random on the streets of LA, and less than 5% would know about the Japanese abductees.

she is good-looking anyway, the promotion is a good reason to come to Tokyo, but as she wants to be a mother with a large family, ain't it better to settle down finally?

seesaw - it has been a topic in Japan for years. I doubt most people outside Japan would know much about the topic.

Hardly even a blip on the radar outside Japan. I think herefornow 5% estimate in L.A. is low because of the high Asia population but I doubt you would even get 5% in most middwest cities.

I can't blame her about not knowing about the abductions - don't think it's common knowledge among those who don't have an abiding interest in Japan / Northeast Asia.

Have not heard of Japanese being abducted here in Houston.

She's just being honest. I know about it, but could care less. Same goes for Darfur. At least she wants to meet the mothers of the abductees. I just want to watch Youtube.

Every time I see her, the words "Home Wrecker" come to my mind.....but of course, Brad Pitt is one also.....

Abductions? Reminds me of a couple of years ago when my brother-in- law's father suggested that the returnee abductions story would be top news in the UK. I didn't have the heart to tell him that it's really a non-story outside of Japan, and quite rightly so.

Mentionign the abdunctees is only a marketing ploy (a very nice one IMO) to generate interest in the movie, as it is about an abductee.

Her mother, I believe, is partly Native American. She certainly doesn't look like her father, Jon Voight.

It must be difficult when you achieve fame and fortune at an early age to keep your feet on the ground. Angelina seems to have found her place. My hat is off to her for forging a life more meaningful than one marked by self-absorbed materialism.

Angelina Jolie is great. I've liked her from the start and still do. With or without Pitt. And yes she is (still) hot, more sexy than beautiful perhaps.
