Actually his wife looks quite charming. So Fukuda-san will be happy at home when he retires soon.

I too am getting sick & tired of Jpn trotting out robots at formal occasions, we all know Japanese society is too robotic, but I guess this is to hammer that point home with the natives who havent quite figured it out yet......sheeesh

Robots can offer some good advice on foreign policy.

At a time when energy is scarce toys like these should be put away. Oh, and those electric toilet seats, totally unnecessary.

Oh dear. It's not too pleasant when your lovechild from a one-off night of passion appears at a social event. I feel for the PM, I truly do.

Look's like a cross between Hello Kitty and a Terminator - quite eerie to be around it. There is always a big technical crew accompanying it when it is on display, usually hiding in the background, so you really wonder just how autonomous it is.

Isn't it about time they put this archaic robot away in the cupboard for good? Hardly latest technology when it has been around for years now. About the only thing that Fukuda could communicate with I guess.
