Just 2? In uniform. Guess other people are using the date to celebrate Japans overthrow of a repressive military government.

-2 ( +14 / -16 )

Looks like ghosts walking in the broad daylight.

18 ( +23 / -5 )

Looks very Nazi-ish.

7 ( +28 / -21 )

Right-wing Nationalists. Everyone should be anti-war.

14 ( +28 / -14 )

Nice stunt....

-3 ( +6 / -9 )

Well, doing the best they can, I guess.

Some Cosplay stunt?

Besides they're getting less and less.

Empire of the Sun,the sun rose in the East, but was setted by the West

And the west will be setted by China..

Japan always does cosplay best.

"The west will be setted by China "

Sure mate, China has SO much to offer the free world.

A living example of how NOT to govern.

29 ( +33 / -4 )

And the west will be setted by China..

Well only if it is lead by Taiwan.

The only reason the CCP won in 49 is because Mao coward in the interior while it's supposed partner the Nationalist did all the fighting only coming out after Japan left, then it "bravely" attacked it's exhausted partner.

Do people in Germany dress up in German WW2 costumes to mark the end of the war? I very much doubt it. Idiots.

10 ( +26 / -16 )

Simple answer is NO!

The longer answer is, most symbols of the WW2 regime are banned in Germany, displaying them is illegal dressing up in them would definitely lead to arrest and criminal charges.

Unlike Japan Germany understands what it did and cares about the feelings of if neighbours.

No German leaders visiting SS graves or war criminal graves.

Tokyo Living, imagine an F 16 going against an Zero,

Facepalm

-4 ( +9 / -13 )

Seems to me like these clown imposters playing dress up disrespect their own soldiers. Pretty sure they wouldn’t last long in a real war

10 ( +13 / -3 )

In this boiling weather, also. How utterly sad.

-7 ( +8 / -15 )

now i understand where some guys from Ukraine,Latvia,Lithuania or even Estonia gets own inspiration...

just imagine that german chancellor will go to some nazi cemetery, will bring flowers ,than will do ceremony and there will be guys marching in wehrmacht or SS uniforms...

-5 ( +9 / -14 )

The world has moved on, while Japan is stuck in the mentality of 1945.

I find it interesting that at this point 14 people dislike my comment

I would be interested in knowing why these brave 14 refused to say why.

What I wrote was fact.

If you do not believe me, then get on a plane fly to Germany with a WW2 German uniform especially an SS one, if you pass customs.

Then try wearing it in public be sure that all the symbols are correct and authentic.

Good luck,

Otherwise it would be nice to let others and me why you think my comment is wrong or why you dislike it.

Parading before a nation unaware of its history of war crimes. Educate honestly and these anachronistic fantasists will be a thing of the past.

Nobody would do this. Wearing part or full Nazi uniforms is prohibited by law. Offenders would be arrested,

For the majority of Germans the end of WWII is reason to celebrate not to mourn a lost war.

No different from neo-Nazis parading around in public in their SS and Gestapo uniforms.

Except in Germany it would be illegal and rightly so.

Germany learned, Japan didn't it plays the victim every year and it's leaders pay homage to war criminals and the people re-elect these leaders.

-5 ( +17 / -22 )

You have to love these clowns that literally celebrate Japan's defeat by putting on the uniforms that got it defeated. Hope you get heatstroke, bud!

-5 ( +13 / -18 )

The person in the photo carrying the flag looks like a teenager or young person.

So few people left who experienced anything in WW2.

Tempting to put on a U.S Marine uniform and pop down for some re-enactment.
