Japanese "talent" and model Kiko Mizuhara holds Panasonic Beauty's new Nano Care hair dryer at a press conference in Tokyo on Tuesday. Mizuhara, 23, is the new image character for the brand. Panasonic Beauty unveiled four new products, including a facial steamer. Mizuhara said she always has a facial steamer in the make-up room, saying it keeps her skin looking bright.

Wow, awesome 'tarento.'

So first you spend hours getting your hair done by a professional stylist....and THEN you blow dry?
What WILL these "talents" come up with next?

nice name, nice pose, nice product. Why is "talent" in inverted commas? she is clearly talented.

Ah hem, exactly what qualifies a "Talent"? 15 years here still don't understand why such mediocrity is a "Talent"

She is an American model working in Japan.

Indicates just how seriously Panasonic and other electronics giants take ecological concerns. If you really 'care about the Earth', don't use a dryer.

Kiko Mizuhara isn't Japanese.... Cute as heck, but not Japanese.

If that's all a "tarento" has to do is hold a blow dryer, I could be one. let's start a new agency "Ojisan Tarento Incorporated".

I think it's fair to call her a "Japanese model/actress/talent, whatever". Maybe not technically correct but she is an active actress in Japanese TV and movies playing Japanese roles and nobody seems to have a problem with it including herself. One would have to look her up on wiki to even determine that she is US born.
