These kind of budget airlines seem strangely out of place in Japan for some reason. There must be a catch somewhere, otherwise they wouldn't allow it.

Jetstar is actually good to fly from Australia to Japan and back. I've flown Osaka to Gold Coast and the other way around and it has always been good. And cheap too, I've always managed to get a great deal.

Ian Thorpe is reasonably well known here. Why didn`t he get the gig? QANTAS calls Australia home, yet it employs Chinese to carry out maintenance and Japanese to push product.

I guess you dont live in Japan. Turn on ANY TV channel at any time and there she is. She is on every second commercial too. Then turn it off straight away to avoid hearing anything she says. Japanese TV is worse than acid for destroying the brain.

I've seen her on TV and she's not even cute, beautiful, hot or funny. She looks weird and the way she acts is annoying..

Is she 25 or 11? You should remember that she is lab-made for Japanese TV, i.e., she has to dress and speak like a Barbie with one single neuron.

I must admit that I am speechless about how she managed to become so popular. She is on TV promoting kittens one day and jets on the next day and she is on JT a lot recently, making music in between and all this with a new haircut.

Jetstar should be made to advertise the price you actually pay ,the 'on the road' cost.Theyve been in trouble with the Australian govt. with this and its dirty advertising..but I reluctantly use it cause I'm cheap.

The price is 4440 for the ticket, 6000 for gas surcharge and about 4000 for airport fees and admin fees.

About 15000 one way, 31000 for a return. Got the booking print-out in front of me. Still top value for the flying bus that Jetstar is.

well, i do live in japan, and i blew the dust off of my antenna connection and turned on the japanese tv for the first time in years, and i didnt see her anywhere. so i still have nooooooo idea who this girl is or whats the story. if someone could take 5 seconds and stop trashing her, or adoring her and input some info about her it would be helpful cuz this article doesnt tell me jack...

You know? I saw her on the cover of a fashion and beauty magazine and almost didn't recognize her (the eyes ave her away). When she isn't acting liek a ditz (such as in this photo and on many TV show) she can be a stunningly beautiful woman....
